Dr. Zupančič, Ph.D., is the co-founder of BioSistemika, a spin-off of the National Institute of Biology, which is active in the field of molecular analytics expert systems, and the director of its spin-off SciNote. He has a Ph.D. in Biomedicine, in the field of genetics.

Dr. Zupančič has developed strong competencies in his career in the fields of business development of life sciences, sales of complex software solutions, marketing, user support, setting up and managing agile software development, as well as testing ideas and their performance with customers before and during product development.
