Envit is a company for environmental technologies and engineering and is a spin-off company of the University of Ljubljana and a member of the Ljubljana University incubator. Established in December 2009, Envit is engaged in the rehabilitation of contaminated sites, mainly soil cleaning.

Due to the high efficiency of heavy metal removal from contaminated soil and comparatively lower costs, the Envit innovative and patented technology outperforms existing remediation solutions. To realize its entry on the global market of contaminated site remediation, the company seeks to attract venture capital investors.

Envit won the Slovenian Startup of the Year award in 2010!
