BioSystemica, Research and Development, is a spin-off of the National Institute of Biology. It offers establishment of laboratory processes, software support and other services and products in the field of molecular analysis and systems biology. By investing in research and development, this newest technology can also be implemented in other areas and services of personal genetics.
Molecular analysis presents the most modern techniques for quantitative and qualitative determination of nucleic acids in all types of biological, industrial and environmental samples. BioSystemica offers complements to these methods as additional sets of services and products to achieve systemic solutions. They are expanding to proteomics, metabolomics and other omics.
Other BioSystemica services include data analysis, software-hardware platforms for in-house data analysis, preparation and ISO validation of methods, protocols and scientific education and workshops. Its clients are mostly from health, food, environment preservation and pharmaceutical industries.
