Niko Klanšek is the most successful Slovene on Kickstarter, where he first started raising money for his two projects: FlyKly - the Smart Wheel, for which he raised 700.000 dollars; and after that with Smart Ped, for which he raised 385.000 euros.

Following the sale of the FlyKly company, Klanšek ran his own consulting firm that has helped more than 40 crowdfunding projects raise more than four million dollars. As a mentor, he regularly helps startup companies develop their business strategies, investments and marketing. His mentees include 0xcert, Yappr, Makerduino, Origin Trail, Ondu and Sipaboards.
