The common thread of Matjaž Fortič's very varied career is the management of companies and sales in various industries from information technology and telecommunications to energy and trade. Matjaž is constantly supplementing the knowledge and experience he gains and combines them well.

As he has been in direct and intensive contact with foreign partners for most of his career, his international experience is one of his most important skills. He also has experience in managing sales teams and partner networks, in leading the development of new projects as well as in crisis management and restructuring. Fortič is sovereign and communicative, he knows how to motivate, control and direct. He has experience and references in the field of business management (management position in the Iskratel Group and is a member of the Supervisory Board and the chairman of the Audit Committee of Pošta Slovenije).

Today Fortič is the managing director of Xenon forte, a company dealing with the distribution and sale of information and communication technology products and services in this field, and is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Pošta Slovenije.
