The startup team PiPi is setting up peer-to-peer car sharing for Slovenia, enabling car rental in the direct vicinity of the user. They currently have more than 500 users who will exchange cars, where a third signed up as car owners who would lease their car, and others as potential renters. Next year, they are planning on applying for one of Slovene Enterprise Fund’s investments, but until then they are mostly planning on dealing with arranging insurance for the duration of the car rental, says Urša Hribernik, PiPi founder.
