Led by Petja Škufka, a Prešeren Award-winning cosmetologist with 7 years of experience in cosmetic product development, the team is developing a revolutionary line of skin and hair cleansing products in the form of a concentrate that activates when in contact with water. The trend for waterless cosmetics has been growing strongly over the last few years and their production avoids the consumption of large amounts of water and heat, which also has an impact on reducing the carbon footprint. Unlike traditional liquid cleansers, which contain 80% water, the concentrates presented here are waterless, 95% lighter, preservative-free and reduce waste by as much as 20 times. The lower weight and volume of the product also allow for more optimized, ecological transport and storage, which is an advantage for the manufacturer, distributor as well as the user. The development of such a product requires a lot of technological know-how from outside the cosmetics industry, but the team has targeted all aspects of a good cleanser, such as thick and stable foam, skin nourishment, etc.
