Nina Dremelj is the President of Business Angels of Slovenia. Her greatest passion is helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into real, successful businesses. Over the last 5 years, she has invested in more than 16 startups, both Slovenian and foreign, and helped close more than 40 additional investments worth more than 40M. Currently, she is also committed to her company Alita Capital. They invest relatively small amounts and a lot of their time and expertise in early founders, or in building teams with the will to bring innovative projects to life.

In the past, she co-owned and successfully managed the Swiss seed fund AlpVent AG. In 2021, she helped launch daFUND, the first venture capital fund backed by Business Angels of Slovenia, where she is an investor and a member of the investment committee.
