Since 2016, Jernej has been co-founder and CEO of CPPE Engineering, a mechanical and chemical engineering company. He has already completed a number of successful industrial projects for major Slovenian and European companies such as Krka, Lek, BIASeparations, Helios, BOSIO, Valji Štore, Eustone, FIVES STEIN (France), Circe (Spain), IONIQA (The Netherlands), IEN (Poland). Jernej is the recipient of numerous awards for innovation in the field of gasification of solid fuels, the intellectual holder of patents and designs, and the author of highly-cited publications in the scientific literature and at conferences.

He has participated in international projects under HORIZONT 2020, FP7, Eureka, Eurostars, RIP09, SRRP, SMER and many other national projects co-funded by the EU.

Jernej is a top professional with more than 20 years of work experience. His strengths are in the use of PTC CREO, ProEngineer, AutoCAD, Matlab, IPSE Pro and other software. In the past, he used his knowledge and experience to help startup companies, including EUROINOX d.o.o. and CUSTOM SOLUTIONS d.o.o.
