Lipičnik began his career as a professor of computer and information science as well as business informatics at Rudolf Maister High School in Kamnik. After that, he started his activities in the private sector, first as an advisor to the e-commerce director at SOAP (MiniMAX), and then co-founded the ISSE award-winning startup project: Company On Net (Connet d.o.o. enterprise).

Lipičnik then exited the enterprise and began his own journey. He is one of the main initiators of the Kamnik startup accelerator KIKštarter, and is currently employed by a family business.
