What is “New European Bauhaus”?
The New European Bauhaus is about our everyday lives, focusing on better coexistence in more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive places. The initiative aims to respond to global challenges with local solutions to achieve our environmental goals and support transformation.
The new European Bauhaus is guided by a triangle of three fundamental and inseparable values:
Sustainability, from climate targets to circularity, zero pollution and
biodiversity.
Aesthetics, i.e. quality of experience and style beyond functionality.
Inclusion, valuing diversity, equality for all, accessibility, affordability.
Winners can receive up to €30,000
The prizes are awarded to the final projects of established creators and to rising stars - for ideas from young talent up to the age of 30 - in four thematic categories. Check out the categories here.
