Annual Teambulding+ that brings together recipients of financial incentive P2 and convertible loan SK75, was different this year due to the Corona, but the main purpose of getting together remains the same. To the contrary, this year is nothing but the same.
How very different this year is due to the situation with the coronavirus, the director of Slovene Enterprise Fund, Maja Tomanič Vidovič, M.Sc., has illustrated: "This will be a record year for us. If we have supported an average of about 1,000 projects a year so far, we have already planned 2,700 projects without a covid in 2020, and in the end there will be 6,000 projects supported."
Participants of the Teambuilding+ could also listen to breakthrough entrepreneurial stories of the year. InstText, Slovenian Start:up of the Year 2020 and recipient of the financial incentive P2, has been presented, as well as Modri planet (3DSurvey), the recipient of the SK convertible loan, and Giro Car Share, the recipient of co-investment SI-SK.
There has been a very interesting panel with female entrepreneurs regarding the female principles in business. Maja Požar Andrejašič. CEO of REC, Cicva Gajić Grabovac, co-founder of Ulla Labs, and Mateja Verlič Brunčič, software development manager at GenePlanet, have been talking about facing the challenges of being a woman in a predominantly male world.
The most inspiring was the talk of Mark Pleško, co-founder and CEO of Cosylab, that has become one of the world's leading companies for the development of control systems for nuclear accelerators, which also participates in the construction of IT fusion reactor , the most important scientific feat in human history.
Mark, who is also a great negotiator and salesman, served up some very helpful tips, among other things:
-
Become an entrepreneur when you already know the rules of the game, the market and the business very well
-
Keep your inner child alive. Try as many times as you can, as this increases your chances of success, don’t give up and negotiate like a child who bets on everything when negotiating, as he is not burdened with losing something.
-
Invest in relationships in business as well: "The key to negotiation is that you understand the person on the other side. You don't have to agree with him, but only if you understand him will you be able to respect him. And that's key to you can negotiate with him, sell him something. Because when he feels that you understand him, he also builds trust."
