Slovenian startup Viberate collected more than 10 million dollars in cryptocurrency Ether in a record time of 4 minutes and 42 seconds. The company, co-founded by DJ Umek, collected funds for their music platform with the first offer of 120 million cryptocoins (ICO), and the team can’t hide their satisfaction at the fact that this is one of the most successful global crowdfunding campaigns ever!
According to an STA report, the Slovenian startup company is planning to use the collected funds to develop their platform for connecting musicians and event organisers, and strengthen their team with additional staff.
CEO and cofounder of Viberate is Matej Gregoričič, other cofounders also include the well-known electro musician DJ Umek. Company consultants include Dejan Roljić, the founder and CEO of the Ljubljana-based ABC Accelerator, and Mark Pleško, the founder and CEO of the successful high-tech company Cosylab.
