The EIT launched a public tender for innovation in the field of healthcare, and as many as three Slovenian companies and their partners managed to convince the jury, gaining financial support and easier access to key players in the market. More than a hundred proposals were submitted to the call, and only 11 were selected, including Pharsol with the innovative CryoHolder solution. Startup Pharsol is also the recipient of the convertible SK75 and thus the portfolio company of the Slovene Enterprise Fund.
Pharsol among the top 11
Pharsol developed an innovative holder for a more efficient and safer transfer of cryovials called CryoHolder. Unlike alternative solutions, CryoHolder is very easy to use and allows the user to transfer laboratory vials quickly and reliably. The user simply inserts the CryoHolder holder into the vial cap, moves the sample to another location, and releases the button. It is a tool that is made of aluminum and is in the shape of a pencil.
They are also the recipient of the convertibleSK75 and the portfolio company of the SloveneEnterprise Fund, which is included in the Startup Plus program. In the future, the company wishes to present its product to institutes, universities, and to the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Success in the tender will enable them to further develop the product and gain access to potential customers.
