On Monday, 14 November 2016 from 13.00 to 15.00 o’clock, we invite you to join us in Technology Park Ljubljana (building B, ground floor hall) for a presentation of startups and stakeholders of the Slovenian ecosystem. On 1 December 2016, they will contend as national ambassadors for a victory at the esteemed Central European Startup Awards 2016 Grand Finale, this year hosted by the Ljubljana-based ABC Accelerator.
In two hours of pleasant company of startups and key stakeholders of the Slovenian startup ecosystem, you will get to know all 56 Slovenian representatives in 11 competitive categories for the Slovenian selection CESA 2016, and find out who will participate at the CESA 2016 Grand Finale event after getting the votes of the national jury and the people’s vote for Slovenian selection CESA 2016.
Competing for regional and global win!
National ambassadors will then compete to win on the level of the entire CEE region, while the brightest regional stars will contend for final victory on 9 December 2016 within Global Startup Awards 2016 in Kuala Lumpur.About the competition, partners and global network
Central European Startup Awards (CESA) is a series of events in countries of Central and Eastern Europe, highlighting and promoting the best innovators and startup stakeholders on the level of individual countries and the entire CEE region.The event, started by a team of startup enthusiasts from Denmark and Hungary and supported by partners such as Google, IMB, Amazon, SAP and others, is the biggest non-conference no-pitch startup festival in the region as well as part of the esteemed network Global Startup Awards.
CESA 2015 was hosted by the ABC Accelerator
This year, countries participating in CESA are Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia. The entire competition procedure on the national, regional and global level is being organized for the third time in a row, while Slovenia is participating for the second time.
