In Trbovlje, it's been hard work, creating, negotiating, and drawing for the last few months. Do you know what it's all about? On Friday, 21 October 2022, the Mayor of Trbovlje, Jasna Gabrič, and the President of Dewesoft, Jure Knez, officially signed a letter of intent to build the City of Acrobats Technology Park, and today we're here to tell you more about the project.
What is the CITY OF ACROBATS?
The City of Acrobats is a technology park where the enthusiasm of young people is combined with the know-how and infrastructure of major companies, such as Dewesoft, within the framework of Katapult. In the City of Acrobats, they strive to develop and produce physical products with high added value.
"Our environment is like a small town where you can find everything you need to develop a product and build a successful business. We have the infrastructure and know-how of Dewesoft, shared service departments, trainings, machinery, and test labs... Like a small town."
After a few days, Dewesoft's President, Dr. Jure Knez, said, "You know, I've been thinking... Why don't we build a real City of Acrobats?". After a few days and many explanations from Jure, the company finally understood that Jure truly wanted to build a 40,000 m² City of Acrobats, the size of three football pitches.
