Hard work, building a better future and creating a legacy that means something - that's winning in the game of life. This winning mentality is what drives Deltahub, a company that has designed an innovative desktop gadget for those with wrist pain, to keep them healthy when working at the computer.
DeltaHub is a young, fast-growing startup company with a dedicated team. Their Carpio wrist rest was developed together with doctors, so they were able to design the correct ergonomic design. It glides smoothly on the surface with the user's hand and prevents painful wrists. The team's innovation quickly penetrated the global market and won the trust of customers employed by Apple, Google, Netflix, SpaceX and others.
In a very short period of time, they have managed to penetrate global markets, where they have promoted themselves mainly through digital marketing, as they mostly operate in the B2C segment. Their main market is the United States, where they have more than 40% of their customers. Canada, Germany, the UK and Australia follow, and together they sell to more than 100 countries worldwide. The B2C segment accounts for 80% of their sales, while in 2021 they also started B2B sales through distributors. In 2021, they generated revenue of just under €2 million. They estimate that there are still many opportunities for development and expansion, as the global market in this area is estimated to be worth €40 billion.

1. What would the title 'Slovenian Startup of the Year 2022' mean to you?
We'll see when we get it.
2. When will you become a Slovenian Unicorn?
In 2030.
3. What does the finalist of the Startup of the Year 2022 bring to the beach?
We only see the beach on the screens.
4. Any advice for all future entrepreneurs who may be in your shoes next year?
All that glitters is not gold.
We will find out on 21st June whether DeltaHub will be the team to earn the prestigious title of Slovenian Start:Up of 2022. The award, which for the fifteenth year in a row has been presented by Start:up Slovenia in cooperation with the Slovene Enterprise Fund, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and active stakeholders in the Slovenian ecosystem, will go to the team whose achievements, actions, reputation and development potential, represents a new generation of Slovenian innovative entrepreneurs.
AND DON'T FORGET - NO MATTER HOW STRONG YOUR DESIRE TO SUCCEED, health SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST.
