ScaleIT is calling on Italian and south-eastern European startups to register for the 4th edition of its annual event that brings together South and South-East Europe’s most high performing startups with global investors and VC Funds. In the past 30 months, ScaleIT alumni raised over $140M in investment, more than 25% of the total capital raised in Italy in the corresponding period (Q4 2015 - Q1 2018).
Notable companies that successfully scaled up as a result of participating in ScaleIT events include Motork, Bemyeye, Musement, Tok.tv, Shopfully, Cuebiq, Spreaker (now merged into Voxnest). Three of the selected startups in last year’s edition, Artemest and Soundreef and HelloHungry.com, closed new funding rounds in less than 4 months after the event. Eligible scaleups should register on www.scaleit.biz/apply, by Friday, 15th June 2018.
Eligibility criteria
- achieved a turnover of at least €1 million in the past 12 months or at least 1 million monthly users (in the case of online B2C)
- YoY growth of around 100%
- at least 20% of total turnover generated abroad or have a clear and sustainable internationalization strategy
