You are invited to a free excursion and intensive mentorship programme. It will take place from the 23rd to the 26th of June 2014 in the accelerator TechPeaks from Trento and will deal with the topic of lean entrepreneurship and building innovative business models.
Until the 2nd of June 2014, fifteen Slovenian high-tech start-up companies in the early phases of development have an opportunity to apply to a completely subsidized excursion to the accelerator TechPeaks in Trento, including an intensive mentorship programme that will deal with the topic of lean entrepreneurship, building innovative business models as well as early customer and sales development. This will take place from the 23rd to the 26th of June 2014.
This excursion (which includes organised networking and meeting other start-ups, mentors, entrepreneurs and potential investors from the region) is organised by EIT ICT Labs, society for knowledge and innovations of the European institute for Technology, within the programme Outreach and in collaboration with Trento RISE and its accelerator TechPeaks, which is an international partner of the initiative Start:up Slovenia.
Because EIT ICT Labs wishes to strengthen connections with start-up companies in countries wherein it’s not physically present with its business hubs yet, the costs of the excursion for Slovenian start-ups are entirely subsidized and cover transport, accommodation, guided visits to business hubs in Trento and an intensive 4-day mentorship programme with renowned mentors such as Andy Parsons, Vitaly Golomb and Vito Lomele. Under the tender Start-up Activation 2014, EIT ICT Labs will cover all costs for 15 chosen Slovenian start-ups and for maximum 2 members from an individual start-up company.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Send your application to the email address aleksandra.parcinska@trentorise.eu until the 2nd of June 2014 until 12 o’clock at the latest. You can get answers to any other questions at the same address.
Your application must include:
- A motivational letter (up to 500 words) and
- A ppt (or another format) presentation of the company and the idea and/or a link to a presentation.
Start-ups that are developing their ideas in the industries of EIT ICT Labs action programmes will take precedence in the selection. Some of these industries are:
- Cybernetics,
- Cloud programming,
- New media and content management,
- Health and life quality, quality ageing,
- Privacy and safety when using modern information technologies,
- Smart energy systems,
- Smart spaces,
- Urbanity and mobility.
NOTIFYING SELECTED START-UPS
On June 4th 2014 Trento RISE will notify all Slovenian start-ups that applied about the selection results on the e-mail stated in the application.
