Going for the win in Zagreb

Allbatron convinced with the LYRA WALLET system
Company Allbatron is developing and marketing the payment system LYRA WALLET with which students can pay bills for study fees through their computer or mobile phone. The web app helps computerize Balkan universities and significantly simplifies the work of employees in the higher education system, because it enables a unified database of students with a unified payment system. At the same time, it is much easier, faster and cheaper for students to pay their fees, compared to now when they’re used to standing in long lines in front of the payment boxes.
The evaluation committee of the Pioneers of the Balkans competition was convinced by Allbatron and their Lyra Walet payment system.
Their product is currently focused on the entire Balkan region, especially Macedonia, Albania and Turkey. Research showed that the large majority of universities there have a fragmented payment system for university services. This means that study fees aren’t paid in one amount but students get on average 30 bills during the year and have to pay everything by hand. For every exam or any transaction, they have to pick up the invoice in the administration office, pay for it and then take the confirmation of payment back to the office. Consequently, there is a big confusion, including a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy.
