Venture Factory invites you to the European Commission's CASSINI Hackathon. From 4th to 6th November, together with Sava Insurance Company, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the European Space Agency and other CASSINI partners, we will solve 3 challenges. European space technology and the Sentinel-HUB platform from Sinergise will help participants solve them. The TOP 3 winners will take home a total of €3.000 - that's €1.000 per challenge, tickets to Podim 2023 and more. No previous experience is needed to participate in the hackathon.

SO WHAT EXACTLY WILL WE BE DOING?

We will work on developing new solutions in finance, insurance and investment that utilize data from European space technology programs and contribute to Europe's sustainability and green goals.

A WHOLE LOT OF SATELLITE DATA AWAITS

All hackathon participants will access data from European space programs to test and validate new solutions and business models. They will also have access to the complete Copernicus DIAS platform data, including virtual computers allowing them to process it. Thanks to our event partner, Synergise, their Sentinel-HUB platform for accessing, analyzing, and processing satellite data will also be available.
