Slovenian Chamber of Commerce wishes to collaborate with partners to assess the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for financing innovations, what the availability and types of funding are, and to collect information on recent attempts to obtain new funding. That is why they are inviting companies from the so-called green sector to fill out an online survey.
So if your company is using or manufacturing environmentally-friendly technology and works on eco-innovation, energy efficiency, waste management, clean technologies, renewable energy sources and similar, this survey is for you. Your contribution, say survey authors, is incredibly important because you’ll help with the discovery of possible solutions for the challenges of financing innovations for companies of green sectors and design a special support tool that will be adapted to the needs and characteristics of SMEs, which in turn will help with access to resources and improving the success of financing applications. They suggest that the survey, which will be active until 21 December, is filled out by a person who holds a management function in the company and has a comprehensive financial, developmental and staff overview of company activities.
The study is part of a wider project of financing innovations in the green sector, called finMED, supported by the Interreg Mediterranean programme and carried out in nine countries, besides Slovenia also in Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Malta and Portugal.
