On Thursday, 8 June 2017, 10 semi-finalists will publicly pitch within the event Presentations of semi-finalists for the selection of Young Entrepreneur of 2017, which will once again take place in the NLB Innovative Entrepreneurship Centre in Ljubljana. The jury consists of Gregor Sakovič (NLB), dr. Jure Knez (Dewesoft), last year’s winner Mario Kurtovič (Panorganic), dr. Blaž Zupan (Optiprint d.o.o.) and Borut Borštnik (Young Entrepreneur Institute). In the first stage, the jury chose 10 entrepreneurs who stood out the most amongst all those who applied (more than 70 candidates applied to the selection this year).


“We’ve received very interesting and quality applications, which fills us with optimism regarding entrepreneurship development in Slovenia,” is how Borut Borštnik, organizer representative, commented on this year’s applications. The semi-finalists are Dominika Bučar and Katarina Bučar (BOO); Nejc Škoberne, Miha Štajdohar, Klemen Hrovat (Genialis); Hajdi Korošec Jazbinšek, Urban Jazbinšek (Hajdi.si); David Benedik (IDL LOGISTIKA); David Knez (InDavidual); Nik Vene (NV); Nadja Keržan and Sandra Keržan (Okay.si); Matej Pelicon and Anita Lozar (Pivovarna Pelicon); Jasna Grbić (Tattoo Care); Luka Železnik and Dejan Kobal (Tng oprema). The winner will be announced on 15 June 2017 at the conference Young Entrepreneur? Why not!
