Who is Žiga?
Žiga is a local from Upper Savinja Valley, who set a Slovenian record on the online platform for mass fundraising - Kickstarter - with the Bird Buddy team. The campaign, which ended on January 14, was backed by 22,923 people, with supporters of the product donating as much as €4.189 million. Žiga is also a co-founder of the non-profit institute Danes je nov dan, which runs the web portal Parlameter - a tool for National Assembly data analysis. For its development, they received financial support from Digital News Initiative, which brings together both European news agencies and Google. Before these successful projects, Žiga worked as a product development manager at Outfit7 and as a product manager at Simobil.

What is POPRI?
POPRI is a competition for the best entrepreneurial idea among young people. For more than 10 years, POPRI has enabled young people to develop innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. In the POPRI competition, 3,494 young people aged 12 to 29 have tested themselves in entrepreneurial problem solving and developed 1,323 entrepreneurial ideas since 2004.
