In the beginning of their journey, a lot of entrepreneurs walk in the gray area of the law. The majority doesn't do this on purpose, but this is due to a lack of law knowledge by startups and their founders. Too often, they believe advice and tips that are not checked and can cause them a lot of great problems.

So that you can stay law-abiding, we are organizing a workshop together with IUURI that will help entrepreneurs and startups answer the many law questions they face each day. So reserve the 30th of May at 14.00 and come to the Venture Factoy, where we will host the co-founders of IUURI, Jan Pečar and Miha Bratina.

We will talk about:
  • traps, that startups can easily avoid,
  • law side of business,
  • how to establish a company in Slovenia and abroad,
  • ESOP - flexible rewards with vesting shares, and
  • what kind of contracts you should make with employees
There will also be enough time for a discussion and your questions. Due to the specific topic, you can send questions in advance to info@startupmaribor.si, with the subject: "Question for the lecturers of the Law Advice workshop". You will get the answers as part of the open discussion, or individually after the workshop, depending on time.

After the event, we will also present opportunities that are available to you within the Digitrans project (digital transformation in the Danube region), which works on digital transformation in companies. The digital revolution doesn’t only influence production activities but also other sectors, such as services and trade. The goal of this project is to encourage small and medium-sized companies to define and apply their own digital business model.
