Joining the Y Combinator and securing a staggering $4.5 million investment is the dream many startup entrepreneurs. Tilen Travnik and his team have done it. But these two achievements did not happen over night. They are the result of a decade of work in the startup environment, which started for Tilen at Mimovrste, where he was invited by Jugoslav Petkovič, and continued at D.Labs, the startup studio he co-founded.

In the startup world, we like to borrow the saying "change is the only constant in life". This is especially true for his career path. When he recognised the potential of Maj Hrovat and Luka Sinček's idea as a mentor and later as a financial backer, a new chapter began. He co-founded the start-up BEVO, which will launch next year under the brand Juicy Marbles, selling premium steaks - more specifically filet mignon, 100% plant-based.
