Do you have an innovative business idea and want to know how you can get EU funding to develop it? Want to hear the stories of entrepreneurs who have already successfully benefited from EU funding?

Slovenia has never had so much EU funding available to it. There are many grants available, at the national level (the Ministry of Economy will allocate almost €500 million in 2022 for digitalisation, investment, woodworking, tourism, etc.) and through Horizon Europe and the EIC Accelerator programme.

But good preparation is crucial. The competition is huge! The EU is also very targeted when launching calls.

Come to Start:up Müsli and learn everything you need to know about getting financial support from funding experts and entrepreneurs. Kristina Kočet Hudrap will be with us, who has helped to approve more than 900 projects worth €140 million with her team at her consultancy Tiko Pro.

Learn more about the entrepreneurial side of getting EU funding, how it is spent and, of course, the behind the scenes of the administrative side - the reporting that goes along with it. It will be discussed by Klemen Zupančič, co-founder of BioSistemika, one of the top companies in the field of software development for laboratories, and Matej Biček, Chief Operating Officer of Elaphe Propulsion Technologies, one of the world's leading companies in the development of electric motors.

    Who can get EU funding.
What is the application process (examples for specific tenders) and how to best be prepared?
What tenders can you expect in 2022.
What are the most common mistakes companies make when applying.
Who can help you apply for a tender.
How BioSistemika and Elaphe are successfully benefiting from EU funding.

Who is the event for?

The event is for anyone who wants to learn from the stories of other entrepreneurs, network with like-minded people and expand their network of contacts. Anyone who is thinking about applying for EU funding and is not sure how to go about it or what the obligations of a company are once funding has been secured is welcome to attend. Also, welcome if you may have already applied for funding and have been unsuccessful, but would like to change this in the future.
